GoPro Launches its new camera: the HERO4 Session

The Smallest, Lightest and Most Convenient GoPro, Yet.

Gopro doesn’t need to be introduced anymore. The world famous company, leader in adventure cameras, just launched its latest product: the HERO4 Session.

This camera is the smallest action camera yet on the market for more convenience but it’s still keeping high graphical and technical advantages. “HERO4 Session combines the best of our engineering and user-experience know-how to deliver our most convenient life-capture solution, yet.” says Nicholas Woodman, GoPro founder and CEO.

HERO4 Session captures GoPro-quality 1080p60, 720p100 and 1440p30 video along with eight megapixel photos in Single, Burst and Time Lapse modes. It features many of the same innovative features found in GoPro’s best-selling HERO4 Black and Silver cameras, including SuperView™, Protune and Auto Low Light recording modes. An expanded set of controls and settings can be accessed when using the GoPro App or Smart Remote.

Concerning accessories, you’ll still be able to use the one you already have! The new accessory especially designed for this cam is a strap, that you can fix on your hand, arm or leg for some new capturing angles.

One of the differences between this camera and the others is its manufacture shockproof and waterproof. You can use it up to 10 meters depth without adding a protective box. Shock resistant and waterproof so that you can take it easily everywhere you go. Then in terms of capacity and quality of the images it is behind the GoPro 4 Silver and the GoPro 4 Black that have a video resolution till 4K and a photo one of 12MP.

But with this camera, GoPro made another step further in innovation and we can’t wait to see what’s coming next! 😉

The HERO4 Session will be available from the 12th of July 2015 and for a price of $399.99.
